Yakima, WA – A traffic accident resulting in injury was reported Friday evening on Bridgefield Rd in Yakima. Emergency units, including fire and medical crews, responded to the scene to provide assistance.
The crash occurred shortly after 7:15 PM, according to dispatch audio. Details regarding the number of vehicles involved and the identities of those injured have not been released. First responders were actively working at the location to evaluate those hurt and determine whether hospital transport was required.
The Yakima Police Department and fire services are investigating the cause of the collision. Traffic delays were noted as crews cleared the roadway.
