RICHLAND, Wash. – A vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Goethals Drive and Abbot Street in Richland during the early evening hours of August 3, Richland Police said in a release.
The pedestrian was attempting to cross at the intersection when the crash occurred. Officers said the driver reported that rain and the pedestrian’s dark clothing made it difficult to see them in time.
The pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
