KENNEWICK, Wash. (April 20, 2023) — Early Thursday morning, Washington State Patrol (WSP) Troopers responded to a hit-and-run accident on I-82 close to Locust Grove Road in Kennewick.
A semi-truck and a passenger automobile collided. The semi-truck driver, according to the WSP, ran from the scene but was apprehended a short distance away.
The semi’s driver was detained on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
