SPOKANE, Wash. (Sept. 15, 2019) — Police have identified the pedestrian victim killed in a hit-and-and run in downtown Spokane Tuesday night Sept. 10th.
Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect vehicle, described as a silver Volkswagen Jetta station wagon within model years 2005-2010. The vehicle will most likely have right front and right side mirror damage, the WSP said.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 26-year-old Yannel Mignonsin, of Cheney, was walking in the westbound lanes of I-90 near the Hamilton Street exit in downtown Spokane at about 10:45 p.m. when he was struck.
Mignonsin was taken to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center where he died, WSP said.
