YAKIMA County, Wash. (June 8, 2019) A rollover crash killed one and injured another on the afternoon of Saturday, June 8th. According to the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office, the 18-year-old driver of the vehicle lost control and rolled several times.
The driver was taken to the hospital with possible broken bones, though his current condition is unknown. The 23-year-old passenger died at the scene. Deputies say the passenger was wearing his seatbelt.
The crash is still under investigation, but the sheriff’s office has reported that alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
