KENNEWICK, WA (3/8/2020) — Washington State Patrol is currently investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that happened on US 395 in Kennewick near Hildebrand Boulevard.
According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson, the accident occurred around 11:33 a.m. when a semi-truck hit and killed a pedestrian.
Authorities don’t know if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash yet, and the identity of the pedestrian is unknown at this time. Once WSP or the Benton County Coroner’s Office notify the family members of the deceased, more information will be released to the public.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by WSP.
