Fatal Car Crash

Ellensburg, WA (9/30/2019) – A 24-year-old man named Jacob McDonald died in a two-car crash Sunday.

Police say he was driving northbound on State Route 97 when McDonald lost control of his car.

The 2007 GMC Canyon spun out and came to rest in the southbound lane where it was struck by a 2012 Chevy Malibu driven by Jeremy Long and April Long.

All three were later transported to the hospital. Jacob McDonald was later declared dead.

McDonald was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Police believe that McDonald’s speed was too high for current road conditions.
