Victim Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Snohomish County, WA (Aug. 21, 2019) — The victim of a fatal crash along State Route 2 in the morning Sunday, August 18th, has been identified according to police.

Terry Johnson, 62, was killed when his motorcycle collided head-on with a vehicle while he was using the eastbound lane of the two-lane highway to pass other vehicles traveling west.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle involved were both taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Authorities have dealt with several motorcycles crashes in the past few weeks, prompting them to release a safety video. This most recent crash shut down both directions of the highway for several hours as crews worked on the scene.
